I've Been Busy!

When I was little, I got $2.50 each week for allowance. If I kept my room clean I got an extra dollar. I rarely got $3.50. My room was a perpetual wreck, every now and then I'd scrap that place together but mostly, it looked like hell.

When I had my own place most rooms were usually pretty straight, I'd throw things is my massive closet if it came down to it. But in this house, my room is a dumping ground. I can keep it together when I've got some free time, but we've just got too much stuff and not enough storage space, and without the available effort it quickly falls into disrepair. It's inevitable, I cannot be contained.

In an effort to be not a glutton, a slob, nor a pack rat, I've drastically thinned my closet and some still-cute-but-not-for-me clothes are ready for a consignment shop or Good Will - but before they do I'm opening my Ukrops shopping bags to any you freakishly small ladies in RVA - I'll be down there this weekend and you will be welcome to peruse blow out sale out of the back of Matt's car - nothing over $2, everything must go!

It is a common misconception that boys are messy- girls are the ultimate slobs. I love going into a girl's room and seeing a pile of pink, green, blue, and a little black laundry.

she lies about not having enough storage space, because she has cleaned that room before and all that crap went *somewhere*.

maybe not enough space to pile it all up like a barbarian!

I'm freakishly small! This is the first time in my whole life that it's been an asset.
