Matt and I are headed to Marion, Va to hike, live rustically, and hunt down Jerry Kilgore with the soul purpose of taunting his "accent." Today is our anniversay and this is our romantic getaway - it was originally scheduled for last year but we postponed it because it snowed that weekend in Marion - and NO WHERE ELSE. I guess planning your third anniversary trip on your second anniversary is relationship insurance.
We'll have an opportunity to hike to the highest elevation in the Virginia, which should be a piece of cake considering how not out of breath we were hiking to a peak of 950 ft.
Anyway, we're off soon and will be back with pictures and memories soon.
