People who wear aprons that have “World’s Greatest Chef” printed across them are liars. Oh, I am not claiming that I am the best chef in the world, but I am pretty sure I beat the people who wear those aprons.
Chief among my talents is my ability to whip up a delicious meal that is probably pretty good for you. Why, in the past three days I have made: homemade pasta with a tomato cream crab sauce + homemade whole wheat baguettes + arugula salad, chocolate cream pie, french toast with soy milk and crunchy oats, homemade (including the sauce!) chicken & veggie (respectively) pad thai, and savory double corn pancakes with tex mex tomato sauce.
I know I am totally tooting my own horn here, but sometimes I am just amazed by the things I can create especially considering the significant obstacle the difference in Matt and my diets poses. Tonight I have class, so I will probably be eating a Luna bar and having Coke Zero for dinner (Matt will get a $5 Little Caesar’s pizza) but tomorrow I’ll be back in the kitchen for crab risotto, steamed asparagus and herbed mushrooms.
