Every Morning
I've been eating a bowl of homemade granola with yogurt and fresh strawberries each morning. It. is. awesome. I feel like I can kick ass all day. The only drawback is I really have to poop about 5 minutes before the kids get to school.

The Blah
I had a drink with a friend this evening at a pub downtown and for some ridiculous reason we ordered bruscetta...at an Irish pub...brilliant. It came out on a sub roll and tasted like nothing.
I should have ordered the corn beef.

Meals: Day 2

Breakfast: Kashi Good Friend, which is a delightful trio of flakes, granola and twigs. It has about 49% of you daily requirement of fiber and now has tastier twigs, but it should be consumed for their awesome branding alone. Matt has a crush on the Good Friends' lady.

Lunch: Leftover wasabi mashed potatoes, fresh tomatoes and green beans + carrots and those yummy cookies. I brought them in to lunch today to thunderous applause except for the secretary who wouldn't eat them because of the zucchini. (More for me!)
Dinner: Vegetable samosa and Baigan Bharta with a dear long lost friend, found. We spent too much of our time talking about teaching and school (she's about to enter her last semester of an Med program at Vanderbilt) and only got to the juicy stuff when I was minutes away from dropping her off.
On the way home I chatted with my best friend and made some revelations about my life and goals...they have to do with food.
