We are trying to become better photographers, be a little more artsy, get Matt's money's worth for his fancy schmancy new camera, and maybe force ourselves to be a little more interesting since you can only take so many pictures of inanimate objects on finished wooden surfaces before you are compelled to ask yourself "why do I suck?" I love the idea of documenting your existence on a daily basis. I used to be a big journaler (pronounced GURN-al-er) but I've been sporatic about it for the last year or so - I guess I blog instead. I acutally attempted this picture a day project about 6 years ago after seeing Bill Gates (omg) on Oprah where he shared that he documents each day with a photo. alright, i know that this is an older post but I want you to know that I've bookmarked your stream. I hope this makes you (and Matt) happy. I dig the picture (and story) about the cut on M's head- I just don't believe it.
Also, back in '96 (or there abouts) I drew a self portrait every single day for (nearly) a year on a blank, pre-addressed postcard and sent it to my friend kate lacey.
She recently asked me if I wanted them back.
