Page France Makes My Heart Hurt

I am outside of Phoenix now having rented my first rental car ever (a sexy little silver Saturn Ion that skids uncontrollably when I try to break on the highway) and driven from action-packed Yuma, AZ to Tempe to visit Sentell - my best good guy friend ever.

Before flying out of National on Sunday, Matt and I met up with Michael and Kimberly at Utah field (yeah, Fairlington!) and went to see Page France open for John Vanderslice. All I've got to say is Vanderslice-Schmanderslice, Page France was possibly the most awesome live event I'd ever seen - and I saw Toad the Wet Sprocket at Merriweather Post Pavillion once.

My number one favorite dance partner, Julia, was there and we danced and hugged all night. PF was great at encouraging audience participation and the feeling when the whole room is clapping, involved in the same collective noise, is very filling. They made my heart hurt with fullness.

If you are not listing to them you are a jerk.

xo!
